The first image shows everybody's photoshop edits that have been pinned to the wall. The second shows my work which looks too dark and it's not very good but i'm improving my photoshop skills quickly so i can get better at photoshop and add some effects.
Here are the tools you can use in Photoshop if you are a beginner.
Move tool: This tool moves a selected layer where ever you want to place it.
Marquee tool: This Tool can select an image using a particular shape like a rectangle, circle, rows and columns.
Lasso tool: This tool allows you to freely select an image, i highly recommend using the magnetic lasso tool because it sticks on a particular object you are trying to select.
Magic wand/Quick Selection tool: This Tool can be really useful if you have no spare time and have to select object quick, when using the quick selection tool hold down the Shift key to select and Alt key to deselect.
Crop tool: This tool can shorten an image, you can use this tool if you are trying to get a subject more clear to the people looking at your image.
Eyedropper tool: This Tool can be useful if you are trying to get the same colour as an object so you can use it somewhere else.
Healing brush tool: This tool allows you to get rid of any marks/spots/wrinkles on people's faces and also you can use this tool to get any unwanted logos on an object that you don't want in your image.
Brush tool: This tool allows you to paint on an image, when using this tool press the [ key to shorten the brush size and ] to extend the brush size, when your also using this tool hold down Shift key to draw straight lines, and when you are also using this tool hold down Alt to get the eyedropper tool and select colour.
Stamp tool: This Tool allows you to clone an object you are trying to duplicate.
History brush tool: This tool allows you to get the previous brush colour you've had and you can paint with the previous brush you had.
Eraser tool: This tool allows you to erase paint from your image.
Gradient/Paint bucket tool: Gradient tool allows you to paint a certain gradient depending on your Foreground and Background colour. The paint bucket tool allows you to paint your image solid colour depending on what foreground colour that you have selected.
Blur/Sharpen/Smudge Tool: Blur Tool allows you to blur an image out like getting your subject to stand out an making the background like Depth of Field. Sharpen allows you to unblur an image that you've done using the blur tool. Smudge tool allows you to blur an image but you can move the mouse around to make it look unusual.
Dodge/Burn/Sponge Tool: Dodge tool allows you to lighten an image up, Burn tool allows you to darken an image, and sponge tool desaturate/saturate an image.
Pen tool: This Tool is an advanced way of using a lasso tool but you can draw particular shapes like circles and rectangles, this tool is effective if you are using it on an image that has circles in it so you can select it.
Text tool: This Tool allows you to type on an image and write whatever you want on it and move it around.
Shape tool: This tool allows you to draw a shape with colour depending on what your foreground colour is.
Hand tool: This Tool allows you to drag the image around if you are zoomed in, the shortcut for this is holding space and dragging to your mouse.
Zoom tool: This tool allows you to zoom in to an image hold Shift key and click to zoom in and hold Alt key and click to zoom out, a shortcut would be Ctrl + to zoom in and Ctrl - to zoom out
Colours tool: this tool allows you to select what your foreground and background is going to be by clicking on the foreground/background colour and selecting a colour that you would like to pick.
